# The birth of Mythos

Greetings everyone,

As the founder of Mythos, I am thrilled to share with you our vision for Mythos and the reasons behind embarking on this journey at the very outset of this white paper.

In recent years, we have witnessed the evolution of gaming from traditional Web2 platforms to the innovative realm of Web3. Our team has been deeply involved in this transformation, fully aware of the immense potential that lies in bridging these two worlds.

We firmly believe that gaming is the key scenario driving the widespread adoption of Web3 technology. Through the Play-to-Earn (P2E) model, we see an opportunity for players to actively engage and earn within the gaming ecosystem, thus truly empowering them.

The key question is: **What essential value does Web3 bring to gaming?**

Our answer is: **To create a sustainable ecosystem where players are not just participants, but co-creators.**

In Mythos, once the user base reaches a certain level, the game will no longer be operated or led by the official team. We will only maintain minimal costs for minting, server upkeep, and on-chain fees through transaction fees. By establishing comprehensive rules, we aim to build a self-sustaining ecosystem driven by the strength of the community.

Furthermore, Mythos leverages AI co-creation capabilities, enabling you to turn your

fantasy in mind into reality! Based on community voting, we can generate any type of skill card, which will belong to you and your community.

 

In 2023, our team made the decision to develop Mythos and defined the keywords of design for the game: <mark style="color:red;">**Simplicity, Fun, and Resonance.**</mark>

Each match will be a fast-paced 2-minute battle, allowing players all around the world to join the game anytime, anywhere, with minimal social friction.

#### Fun

While being easy to get started, the diverse card combo can bring surprising comeback and enjoyment of competition, immersing players in the gaming world.

#### Resonance

Why resonance? The answer is simple. We believe in the power of community and co-creation. You can upload customized skill cards reflecting your thoughts and the values of your community through our gameplay. This co-creation not only enhances the gaming experience but also deepens the connections between players.
